Pennsylvania motorcycle accidents: Crash kills all involved

Many individuals who operate motorcycles know that there is considerable risk with every outing. Though motorcycles are an enjoyable and convenient mode of transportation, if motorcycle accidents take place, the vehicles are ill equipped to protect the riders. As a result, many individuals are killed every year in such accidents. If a fatal collision takes place due to the actions of another driver, the surviving family of the victim or victims may want justice.

One family in Pennsylvania may be considering their legal avenues after a recent crash. It was reported that a 65-year-old man was driving a car east when he apparently lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the car turned sideways and continued traveling. The car then collided with a westbound motorcycle that was carrying a 46-year-old man and his 44-year-old wife.

All individuals involved in the incident were killed. The driver of the car and the driver of the motorcycle were both declared deceased at the accident site. The motorcycle passenger later succumbed to her injuries. It was noted that police are continuing the investigation into the crash.

Fatal motorcycle accidents are harrowing events, and the family of these Pennsylvania victims may be uncertain as to what actions to take next. If they wish to do so, considering their legal options may be a prudent step. Though the driver of the car was killed in the crash, the motorcyclists’ family may still be able to file wrongful death claims against the estate of that individual. Information on filing such a claim may help them during the decision making process.
